Legal Counsel

This international, industry leading research company are now seeking a Commercial Lawyer/ Legal Counsel to join their inhouse Legal Team in Cambridge.

The Legal Team are experienced and efficient, responsible for dealing directly with domestic and internationally clients. You will find a clear management structure and very accomplished team of senior Lawyers, this position is being offered due to further planned growth.

The Role

This position will offer a level of autonomy where you will be responsible for your own market/ region; meanwhile being provided with full support from Paralegals and an open-door policy from the senior management team.

The work involved is varied within Commercial Law; this includes drafting, reviewing and negotiating on:

• Commercial Contracts
• Agreements for Sale
• Domestic & International Tenders
• Framework contracts

There will be elements of team management involved in this role, you will be responsible for working to your own initiative; therefore, they are seeking a commercially minded lawyer to add value to the Legal Team, contributing to its overall success and vision.

Requirements

• You will be an experienced Commercial Lawyer/ Legal Counsel with 4PQE +
• This position is open to Solicitors or CILEX
• You will have strong proven experience across all areas of Commercial Law
• Ideally you will have experience working on EU/ International Projects
• Ideally you will have experience within Pharma, Life Sciences, BioTech, Healthcare
• You will be confident working autonomously
