Head of Knowledge - Professional Support Lawyer

The Role

This highly ranked Legal 500 firm is looking for a Head of Knowledge to join them in the City of London - this role can be done remotely with some presence in the offices required from time to time.

As Head of Knowledge, you will support and report to the Director in delivering strategy aligned with business objectives.

The team is made up of several PSL's currently, plus specialist support.

You will be:

• Leading, developing and managing the Knowledge team
• Sourcing, delivering and sharing market/client knowledge
• An internal service provider to all teams in the firm
• Close contact of the Marketing & BD team
• Delivering the firm's PSL service
• Developing/delivering knowledge/legal training
• Harmonising and motivating partners/lawyers with respect to knowledge management
• Supporting research and knowledge support activities of any team or function within the firm
• Driving forward new projects and initiatives
• Managing the firm's in-house and external research programmes
• Providing market and sector research both proactively and in response to incoming briefs from internal business partners
• Managing firm-wide legal training, including our subscriptions with training providers
• Managing knowledge and precedents databases

This role will allow you to work flexibly, allowing you to split your week between the office and your home working environment.

Requirements

• You will be a highly experienced PSL / Knowledge Lawyer
• You will have solid commercial awareness and understanding of the importance of knowledge sharing
