Exclusive. A great role with a friendly and supportive law firm based in a lovely part of the country. Some local knowledge an advantage but relocates are also encouraged to apply.

A General Litigation Solicitor is required for a succession opportunity with an established local firm with good standing in the local community. Caseload will be majority Family with some General Litigation and Contested Probate and Estate work. Salary will be negotiable and dependent on experience, for guidance we would suggest upwards of £36,000 with lots of benefits.

The successful candidate will take a senior position in the busy market town branch of an established North Yorkshire law firm. Such is the nature of life in a rural community, the day to day will vary in challenge and priorities can be very much guided by what comes through the door. It is expected that private Family Law matters will make up the majority, maybe 80%, with the remainder General Litigation including Contested Probate and Estate work. You will manage matters through to conclusion with the support of Senior Associates and Partners in other offices when required. A Legal Secretary will help manage your diary, answer calls and produce documents.

Applications are invited from experienced General Litigation Solicitors who can major in Family Law matters, candidates who are confident in their abilities to manage matters with a high degree of autonomy and who are driven to take the next step towards a senior position in a highly regarded rural law firm. Strong client servicing skills are essential as is a keen interest in the dynamics of how rural communities move, shake and ultimately are driven to make buying decisions.

An excellent North Yorkshire General Litigation role for an ambitious Solicitor who values professionalism and support in a forward thinking, established law firm. Salary is upwards of £36,000 and the ceiling is very much driven by experience.
