Adult Social Care Lawyer

LAW Absolute are working with a local authority based in East London who are seeking an Adult Social Services Lawyer for an initial period of three months. This role is being offered based on 17 ½ hours per week.

The successful Adult Social Care Lawyer will be required to show a track record of handling a varied and complex caseload including:

• Deprivation of Liberty
• Court of Protection
• Mental Health
• Ordinary Residence
• Displacement of nearest relatives
• No recourse to public funds

This is a remote working role to start with but may require ad hoc attendance at the council offices. You must be a qualified solicitor, barrister or CILEX with a current practising certificate. Please note this is a part time role to start ASAP. We are seeking candidates available on no more than two weeks’ notice.
