Corporate and Commercial Solicitor

We are looking for a solicitor to join a busy corporate and commercial team.

Primarily, but not exclusively, the role is to deal in corporate and commercial law, and will include:

• Mergers and acquisitions
• Joint ventures and investments
• Shareholder and corporate governance issues
• Commercial lending
• Commercial contracts
• Corporate finance work
• Regulatory and disciplinary matters

You will be required to manage your own caseload, providing legal advice and assistance on a range of matters, including restructuring and refinancing, partnerships, and intellectual property.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a positive and commercial approach to delivering legal advice. You will have a proven track record of meeting financial targets, display excellent client care and organisational skills, work well under pressure and be a strong team player.

The role will also involve business development and marketing, representing both the department and the firm, so the ability and personality to make a success of this is key. Professional development is encouraged and supported within the team, with for the right candidate.

We are open to applications from candidates who wish to work flexibly, either homeworking for part of the week or reduced hours.

Salary will be dependent on knowledge and experience.
