One of our Global Law Firm Clients is looking to hire a Legal Recruiting and Development Assistant to join their London office. This position will work closely with the rest of the Legal Recruiting & Development team and will report directly to the Director of Legal Recruiting & Development. The role will provide recruitment assistance for the Legal Recruiting & Development team, alongside this you will be assisting with general administrative tasks for the wider team. Main duties will lie in Lateral Recruitment, Graduate Recruitment, Development and training and wider administrative tasks. Duties will be varied and will include but are not limited to Liaising with senior staff members such as Partners to arrange interviews, and greet candidates for all attorney hires, assisting in managing the entire end to end recruitment process for lawyers- including induction, onboarding, organising visas, compliance, and database management.

You will also assist the team in managing graduate recruitment processes. This will include the organising of events and vacation schemes for graduates and trainees. You will also need to pre-screen CV’s and applications of the graduate cohort applications before managing the interview and onboarding process. The successful candidate will also be required to support the Development Manager with any tasks around the training and development of lawyers and trainees within the firm. This will include liaising with internal and external trainers, manging the logistics around training events and any other tasks that may arise throughout the process.

The candidate will need to be passionate about recruitment and L&D with at least one years’ experience in a similar environment- Law Firms preferred. You will need to be proactive and organised with a proactive approach to working. The core hours for this role are 9:30- 5:30pm with a flexible attitude should the need arise. The role will pay a competitive salary.
