The successful secretaries will provide full secretarial services within the afore mentioned practice areas, supporting multiple Fee Earners. You will need excellent keyboard skills, a polite and patient manner, initiative and a flexible approach. It would be preferable, to have at least one years’.



JOB OVERVIEW:
Provide a full secretarial service within the departments, to ensure that the work is carried out in an expeditious manner and to an appropriate professional standard. Key responsibilities include, handling of and dealing with clients’ calls and liaising with Fee Earners where appropriate, although no legal advice may be given. Seeing clients in reception, general typing and office support for the department. Preparing case files for court hearings and attending departmental and firm wide meetings. Provide reception cover as required. Preparing accurate invoices and cost scheduling for clients on a monthly basis under Fee Earner supervision/instructions. Undertaking any reasonable instructions given by management within the scope of the role. You will require excellent keyboard skills with a good knowledge of Outlook, Word etc. A dynamic approach able to use own initiative when dealing with clients or potential clients and a positive approach to customer service. Ability to be a team player and have a flexible outlook. Efficiency to deal with awkward situations and difficult clients in a professional manner and the ability to remain discreet, maintaining employee and client confidentiality at all times.
