Legal Counsel 1-2 PQE

Your new company

This role is with an asset management company based in the City, who are a subsidiary of a large international bank. The Legal Counsel will sit within the UK Legal department of Asset Management, participating in the provision of Legal services to the UK business, as well as collaborating with the global legal team. The legal team are currently working fully remote, from the 19th of July the company will start to welcome people back into the office for a minimum of 1 day a week. From the 6th of July they will start the transition over to their new hybrid working model, which will allow employees to work from home 2 days a week.


Your new role

• Drafting and amendment of agreements with clients, external service providers and others
• Regulatory watch, communicating legal and regulatory change to the business and working on related projects as required
• Creation and maintenance of template documentation
• Working with the rest of the team as necessary on a wide range of legal issues

What you'll need to succeed

• 1-2 PQE (as a guideline only)
• Previous experience within Asset Management
• You'll need to be collaborative, with a focus on productive working relationships and teamwork

What you'll get in return

• £65,000 salary
• Up to £10,000 bonus (subject to performance)
• Annual salary review
• 30 days annual leave
• 12% pension (employer contribution)
