The Role:

A well-established personal injury specialist law firm in Hull are looking to appoint a Costs Draftsman to join their growing team. This role will involve a range of responsibilities to include drafting Bills of Costs, costs schedules, Precedent H, negotiations, and costs budgets. Working alongside other senior members of the team, you will be part of maximising costs received by the firm. Advocacy experience would be advantageous but not essential.

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you will have at least 5 years of experience in Costs and the ability to maintain good working relationships. Excellent communication skills are required, both verbally and written, as well as an ability to prioritise your workload in order to deal with a constant flow of work requiring fast turnaround.

Proclaim experience and working knowledge of Costs Master are advantageous. Being responsible for assisting other team members where required, you will have excellent teamworking skills and be able to demonstrate commitment to providing a high-quality experience to clients.
