Experienced costs draftsman required for leading law firm in Southampton
We are keen to receive applications from experienced law costs draftsmen who are looking for their next move in Southampton.
The firm:
This renowned law firm have been providing services to clients both locally, nationally and internationally for many years. They are highly recommended in the legal directories for their work in various sectors and are now looking to grow their internal costs function by several candidates, including one from their Southampton base.
The role:
Due to an influx in work and the firms ongoing expansion plans, they now seek to recruit an additional law costs draftsman for their Southampton office. You will be responsible for managing your own caseload of complex and high value personal injury cases, drafting and negotiating budgets, drafting points of dispute and negotiating costs settlements. You will primarily deal with RTA/ ELPL matters and be responsible for negotiating and pursuing the settlement of costs at the earliest opportunity.
The successful candidate:
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a minimum of 1 years' costs drafting experience, ideally gained within an RTA/ ELPL environment.
Remuneration:
Salary to £32,000
Flexible working
35 hour working week
