Litigation Solicitor (Interim)

We're working with a top tier international law firm who are seeking Litigation Solicitors (Common law qualified) for a long term project they have with one of their financial services clients.

Responsibilities would include:

- Manage from start to end a large case load of complex claims on behalf of the FS organisation
- Conducting early case management of claims to assess legal exposure, risk and conduct a success analysis of each claim.
- Drafting necessary Court documents and liaising with counterpart solicitors.
- Drafting and submitting defences at Court
- Successfully negotiating settlements with opposing counsels.
- Attending Hearings at the Small Claims Court.

Experience required:

- Qualified Solicitor in a commonlaw jurisdiction holding a current practising certificate.
- Previous Litigation experience
- Experience of managing large case loads effectively.

The role will initially be offered on a 3-6 mth basis although very likely to be extended subject to performance and project status

The role will pay an hourly rate of £26 + accrued holiday pay. Umbrella rate can be calculated upon request.
