Your new role
A Spanish-speaking Senior Counsel position in London, reporting to the General Counsel. This influential position will look after legal matters across LATAM, engaging stakeholders at high levels as the business continues its operations. The successful candidate will manage projects across the relevant regions, negotiating and reviewing high-value business-critical agreements, including service, distribution, framework and logistics agreements. Further, the role entails supporting the business in complex tendering processes and advising on ad hoc IP and data privacy orientated matters. The position will directly manage an experienced contracts manager and sits within a small but indispensable legal function.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified commercially orientated lawyer with 5+ PQE (as a guide only) and fluent/business fluent Spanish skills. You will have in-house experience with a large business, with regular negotiation and review of varied commercial contracts and risk advisory processes. You will need to be culturally aware of different ways of conducting business and credible with stakeholders at all levels. The position demands commercial awareness and the people skills to influence business decisions at the highest levels, alongside a collaborative team approach.
