Adult Social Care Locum

A busy Local Authority requires the expertise of an experienced adult social care lawyer to join the team, initially for 3 months with the possibility of extension.

Duties will include:

• Court of protection litigation
• Policy work
• Judicial review
• Ordinary residence
• Nearest relative matters
• Safeguarding issues
• Advice on the Norfolk judgement

This is a varied role and will require the adult social care lawyer to have a high level of knowledge and experience of all matters in relation to ASC.

Applicants will be a qualified lawyer ideally with previous local government experience although candidates with experience of court of protection and mental health law from private practice are also encouraged to apply.

The role is full time and fully remote.
