Tremendous chance to work at a Legal 500 firm based in the heart of Manchester's commercial district with one of the regions most recognisable law firms. This firm have a requirement for a Law Costs Draftsman to undertake a mix of work on high value multi track and clinical negligence matters. Home working is also in place for those needing added flexibility.
You will need to have gained at least 3 years' within a law costs role and have the ability to deal with costs negotiation, drafting bills, conducting detailed assessment hearings and have costs budgeting & precedent H experience. You will be primarily dealing with clinical negligence costs matters and be used to dealing with bills in excess of £100,000+ as well as dealing with other high value multi track personal injury cases.
You will be forming part of a strong team of 5 - 10 and will be working closely with the Head of Department who will also provide you with any training / mentoring you may need. Your role will develop into dealing with more complex work and also will move into dealing with advocacy too.
This role will suit someone looking to move into a strong practice and build a career dealing with a high quality of work at a top tier firm. Salary will be based on experience but will likely range from £30k - £45k with a comprehensive benefits package and bonus scheme also included.
