New opening for an experienced Banking and Finance lawyer to join the Cayman Islands office of one of the world’s leading offshore law firms. This is an ideal role for someone who wishes to continue doing high-level and challenging cross-border work, but who is at the same time craving a change of scene from the typical big law firm environment. You will take on a broad practice spanning the full range of offshore banking and finance work, with plenty of opportunities to take a lead in both transaction management and business development. It will likely suit someone who is technically strong and who enjoys a fast-paced and varied, client-facing role.

The successful candidate will be UK/Commonwealth admitted with at least 4.5 years’ post-qualification experience gained in a top City or equivalent international law firm. Whilst a general banking and finance background is ideal, lawyers with a specialism in areas such as structured finance, acquisition finance, leveraged finance, funds finance, asset finance, or debt capital markets work are equally encouraged to get in touch.

Process

Interviews will take place by videoconference with start dates typically four to six months later. Our clients provide comprehensive assistance with visas and relocation, including temporary accommodation and car hire on arrival.
