Job description: We are recruiting for a Property & Commercial Locum to join a North West based Local Authority.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced lawyer to join on a remote basis, for a period of three months with potential of further extension.

The successful candidate will:

• Able to progress a caseload including both Property and Corporate/Commercial matters
• Negotiate, advise and draft commercial agreements including service/supply agreements, design and build agreements, framework agreements, insourcing/outsourcing contracts, grant aid, state aid/subsidy issues, external funding agreements, charging and trading
• Provide advice and draft documents in relation to property matters including (but not limited to) landlord and tenant, freehold/leasehold acquisitions and disposals, development agreements

Salary: £45 - £50 per hour (negotiable DOE)

The ideal candidate would be a Qualified Solicitor with previous Local Authority experience. The Council are looking for someone to start towards the end of July.
