Junior HR Advisor at London Law Firm – c£35-£40k
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and confident HR Coordinator/Senior HR Assistant looking to make that step up to HR Advisor.
Our client is a mid-sized, Legal 500 law firm with a small HR team so this will be a complete 360 role that will see you completely immersed in all elements of a generalist HR position.
Working alongside a Senior HR Advisor and the Head of HR this role will be very autonomous and give you huge amounts of contact with the senior stakeholders of the firm as well as the wider business.
Duties will include;
- Building and maintaining an in-depth understanding of the firms’ goals, people and processes.
- Acting as the point of call for both support staff and fee earners, providing advice and guidance on all people issues.
- Taking the lead on some ER issues and ongoing HR projects.
- Liaising with the rest of the HR and line managers across the firm to make them aware of employee relations issues.
- Operational control of recruitment projects.
- Getting involved in salary review and appraisals for the practice area, including suggesting promotions/performance reviews.
- Helping run monthly payroll for the allocated group, alongside the HR Assistant.
What they are looking for is a CIPD qualified (or at least part qualified) Senior HR Assistant or HR Coordinator with at least 4-5 years’ experience within HR. Experience of working within a commercial law firm is also essential.
Also, when things return to “normal” they will be working a “blended” approach and they expect this person to be in the office 2 days a week, then from home the other days.
