Newly Qualified Serious Injury Solicitor

We are looking for a Newly Qualified Solicitor to join our team in Manchester working with our Serious Injury PI department. This role deals with multi-million-pound settlements for people who have unfortunately suffered some of the worst life changing injuries.

Working alongside the Partner to manage cases which will likely involve brain, spine or head injuries or serious amputations, you role will involve:

• Attending meetings with barristers
• Drafting statements
• Reviewing cases alongside a court appointed deputy or case manager
• Instructing experts
• Working cases to settlement in order to achieve the best possible outcome for the client

So what are we looking for in the person for this role?

Someone clearly with a background in PI – either RTA or EL/PL. Importantly you’ll have an empathetic nature in order to deal with the type of work and injury that our clients have suffered. Some understanding of serious injury / multi-track PI would be beneficial, but importantly someone who has an eye for detail who can balance the case work and will build relationships with the clients.
