Banking/Corporate Solicitor - In House

THE ROLE

This is a new opportunity for a Solicitor c 4-5 PQE with a Corporate or Banking background to join a highly respected in house legal department.

As a key team member, you will be expected to provide legal advice and support to the Bank's central functions; Corporate, Treasury and Finance, advising on business and loan portfolio acquisitions and disposals, capital raisings and securitisations.

The work will varied and business facing covering a broad range of corporate transactions from either a corporate or banking angle, managing and coordinating diligence processes and drafting, advising on and negotiating the relevant transaction and ancillary documentation.

There will also be an opportunity to support the Bank's Legal function in other areas particularly supporting the Business Finance division on complex, strategic, unusual, high value or high risk matters.

THE CANDIDATE

You will be a qualified Solicitor c 4-5 PQE, with a solid background and a City law firm background or similar, ideally in a corporate or banking transactional team.

You will ideally have previous experience handling corporate/corporate finance transactions.
