The team and the work

This global big hitter has a significant dedicated procurement team across its Irish and European offices which offers a full suite of services across contentious and non-contentious procurement work, providing commercial, balanced and strategic solutions across a range of sectors including transport, health, waste, social housing, energy, technology and telecoms.

The culture of the team is supportive and collegiate and they work well together to achieve collective aims.

The role

· Take the lead on major procurement matters
· Supervise and mentor more junior members of the team
· Take an active role in helping the team to grow client relationships and develop new business
· Form an integral part of the firm-wide procurement team
· Work alongside some of the region's top project/procurement lawyers on high profile work.

What they're looking for

· A solicitor with at least 4 years' PQE in procurement matters, gained either in private practice or in-house
· A strong team player.
· Those with solid commercial contract experience with some procurement experience will also be considered.
· An articulate communicator with strong technical skills
· A genuine passion for procurement!
