Contentious Construction lawyer 3+ years’ PQE BIRMINGHAM

Thriving Construction practice at this large commercial law firm in Birmingham seeks a contentious Construction Associate of 3 or more years’ PQE. The team advises clients on all aspects of their Construction projects and advises on all standard forms of UK contracts including NEC4, JCT as well as international FIDIC  and EPC contracts. The team is also skilled in all forms of dispute resolution including Litigation arbitration, adjudication and all forms of ADR. They are very active in key sectors such as energy, waste management, chemicals and process plant, infrastructure (including transport), real estate regeneration and development. On the contentious side the team is winning superb quality, high profile work and they want to continue this growth trajectory by expanding their team. You’ll be coming from a construction team at a strong regional, national or international practice, and will have strong academics. You’ll be driven, motivated and have a real passion for construction. The team offers clear progression opportunities whilst working on a range of complex contentious construction matters with a real opportunity to broaden the role by combining contentious matters with non-contentious advisory work. A key feature of the team is to train and practice in both disciplines to create all rounded construction lawyers.
