CORPORATE COMMERCIAL SOLICITOR - Legal 500 firm

CENTRAL LONDON 

EXCELLENT PACKAGE 

This established law firm Legal 500, in Central London are very busy and looking for Corporate Commercial solicitor to join the friendly team.

Role:

  1. The position is on average usually about a 50/50 split (i.e. between company/transactional work and commercial work) but this can vary over the course of a year.
  2. Of the 50% company/transactional work, its usually split roughly equally between M&A work and investment/fundraising work. Typical transactions are (in summary):

    - SEIS/EIS investment work;
    - Second-round/Series A and B fundraisings;
    - MBOs/MBIs;
    - Founder exits structured in various different ways (including earn-outs);
    - Share buy-backs;
    - Secured lending work (for borrower clients);
    - Joint ventures;
    - Outsourcing work; and
    - General M&A (share and asset sales/purchases).

3.   Deal values can vary a lot (because of the wide variety of different clients)  but, typically, they range from £100,000 up to £5m.
