Our client is top City law firm with a debt capital market team which has a strong City presence and is a market-leading team across the rest of the UK. They have an impressive roster of bank clients, for whom we advise as bookrunners on public bond issuances and also act for the majority of UK institutional investors in privately placed transactions.
They are looking for an Associate with at least 1 year of debt capital markets experience, to work on a variety of DCM matters. They act for bookrunners, investors, trustees and issuers across a wide range of public listed and offered and privately placed DCM transactions, both secured and unsecured, and on structured and plain vanilla debt.
Their ideal candidate will have experience in drafting documentation for bookrunners and investors, transaction management of public issuance and liaising with the FCA and LSE in debt listing, and current knowledge of applicable regulatory and securities laws and market practice.

The ideal candidate will have strong academics and have gained at least one year of experience at a City or leading national practice or an equivalent firm in a Commonwealth country in finance work.
As well as the above requirements, you will have:
- excellent academic achievement with a minimum 2:1 degree
- clear understanding of the operation and structure of a top law firm
- ability to achieve continuous improvement and development and
- active interest in business development and networking.
