Childcare Lawyer

Locum Childcare Lawyer – South West London – 3 days per week – 12-month contract – Remote Working offered 

Venn Group’s specialist legal team are currently working with a busy Local Authority in South West London, who are known for their varied caseloads and personal development, who are recruiting for a Locum Childcare Lawyer to join their department.

This is a full-time assignment and will be offered an initial 12-month contract and with the option to be worked on a remote basis. The client is considering office presence in the future however if this is not possible, this can be discussed with the client. They are keen to secure the right candidate and are willing to be flexible if necessary.

This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Childcare Lawyer to become part of a proactive Local Authority. They can also offer no advocacy due to in-house advocates already a part of the team.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working within Local Government and it is essential that the successful candidate has specifically handled:

• Care proceedings and pre-proceedings
• Experience attending PLO meetings

An hourly rate of around £40 per hour umbrella is offered for this position, dependent upon experience. This can also be negotiated if needed.
