In House Litigation Paralegal required by an incredibly fast growing business based in Birmingham City Centre. Joining an already established in-house legal team, you will be responsible for running your own caseload of debt recovery litigation matters from start to finish.

A start up business which has grown significantly since it opened nearly 15 years' ago, they are now a leading business within their industry.

Description

As an In-House Litigation Paralegal you be responsible for managing your own debt litigation caseload as well as supporting the legal manager on other aspects of legal areas such as commercial contracts, GDPR and data protection. Other duties will include:

• Preparing and issuing claims.
• Drafting statements of case.
• Liaising with customers and their legal representatives.
• Reviewing and advising on commercial contracts.
• Providing assistance on GDPR matters and data breaches.

Profile

The successful In House Litigation Paralegal will have a minimum of 6 months experience within debt recovery. PLEASE NOTE: it is not essential to have commercial contracts, GDPR experience. You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to work independently as well as in a team.
