Senior Commercial Lawyer

A small legal team at an established fintech is currently looking for a number 2 to the General Counsel. With a strong commercial contracts angle, this position does not require direct industry experience, although some financial services experience will be useful. You will be required to deputise for the GC in relation to dealing with the board and management and interface with the business. Whilst most of the work will be of a commercial nature there will be scope for you to get involved in whatever other legal work you want to, such as technology, data, HR/employment, real estate etc.

Our client would be keen to see applications from mid level candidates ready for a step up and those coming directly from private practice be encouraged. We are looking for someone focussed on delivering, who can flex according to the needs of business, and is confident enough to cover the shift.
