A Top 50 law firm with an outstanding West Midlands private client team is looking to hire an ambitious and enthusiastic Court of Protection Paralegal to join its busy team. This is a full-time, permanent role in Birmingham.
Your New Role
The Paralegal will join a team that has a great reputation in dealing with the full range of Court of Protection services including:
- Deputyship services.
- Gifts.
- Enduring & Lasting Powers of Attorney.
- Replacing deputyships with private trusts.
This is a superb opportunity for you to develop your skills and experience within an established and innovative environment. Post-holders can expect to deal with clients, draft documents, progress the litigation process and attend court.
About You
The incoming Court of Protection Paralegal will be a team player who demonstrates:
- Strong communication skills and an understanding of client care.
- Experience managing a caseload of deputyships, applications for lifetime gifting/IHT planning, applications for statutory wills and expert witness reports for deputyship costs in litigation matters.
Salary
In return, the Paralegal will be offered £23,000 - £26,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
