An excellent opportunity has arisen with the IP/IT team of a top US firm for an experienced IP paralegal.
The Firm

The Role
The IP paralegal will join one of the smaller teams in the office and therefore will work very closely with the partners and associates and take on responsibilities more akin to a trainee. Clients include well known technology and media companies, insurance and finance companies, and luxury car and goods companies.
The role will be a mix of non-contentious advisory work, working closely with other corporate and transactional teams advising on IP/IT related issues that arise during transactions and advising companies on a range of IP and technology projects. However the IP paralegal can also look forward to working on contentious IP matters as well.
The IP paralegal can look forward to assisting on anything from IT software and outsourcing, international licencing, joint ventures and supply and distribution agreements and also with new areas including AI.
The Requirements
Experience at a top tier firm in IP/IT or TMT is essential and you will have had exposure to IP, IT, data protection/data privacy, technology and media.
Please note the role is initially a 6 month fixed term contract. This could be an ideal opportunity for a paralegal who has secured their training contract to start next year and is seeking really hands on experience to hit the ground running when they start.
