An new opportunity created with team expansion in mind at an established forward thinking legal 500 firm with offices across the Southeast. The role will provide excellent career development and you will enjoy a great working relationship with the partner in this close knit property litigation team. 

This Legal 500 firm are established at several locations across the South East dealing with commercial and private matters. They could be described as modern, entrepreneurial with a transparent approach to professional development and promote a collaborative and friendly office culture. Property is seen as one of their particular strengths with numerous teams covering both commercial and residential matters. They have an excellent list of clients ranging from small to medium size as well as national housing developers and a broad range of commercial landlords and property investment funds. The Property Litigation team forms part of the wider overall Dispute resolution department and is lead by one Partner and supported by an excellent Associate. The wider team are based at several offices across The South with this role offering the possibility to work at one of several locations. 

The team are looking to add an experienced property litigator be that qualified solicitor or chartered legal executive. You should have sufficient experience to be able to independently manage your own caseload without the need for supervision, though of course support will be available for those occasions where more unique and unusual issues arise. Ideally your strengths will lay in commercial property disputes as this forms a large proportion of the work but those with residential and some commercial with the aptitude to develop further commercial capability will also be considered.

The work will essentially be made up of Commercial and Residential Property disputes with a bias towards commercial work, including; landlord & tenant disputes, service charge disputes, boundary & neighbour disputes and dilapidations & disrepair. The role will suit an ambitious individual who considers themselves to be proactive, a good collaborator who is comfortable working in a fast paced environment and enjoys a great deal of autonomy.
