Conveyancing Fee Earner / Paralegal

A Residential Conveyancer is wanted for a fantastic Leeds based opportunity with a ambitious and dynamic Legal 500 law firm. Applications are invited from technically strong experienced Residential Conveyancers (preferably Ilex/Licensed Conveyancer or relevant experience) to join this sought after Property Team. A great opportunity for a Conveyancing Fee Earner, looking for an opportunity to utilise their technical skills and move their careers on in a supportive working environment.

Salary is between £23,000 and £30,000 and negotiable, depending on experience and comes with excellent benefits.

The successful Residential Conveyancer will join a busy, friendly team managing a mixed caseload of Sales, Purchases, Leasehold and Re-mortgages, applicants should have experience of conducting casework from initial instructions through to post completion.

Day to day duties will include:

• Sale contract issues,
• Replies to enquiries
• Purchase contract approval and the raising and checking of enquiries and searches.
• This role will also offer an opportunity to mentor and act as a 2nd opinion for less experienced team members.

The successful candidate will possess at least 2 years experience gained in a busy high street, regional or volume conveyancing environment and possess the confidence to hit the ground running managing all types of conveyancing transaction.

Excellent levels of client care and service delivery, good IT experience gained through case management systems are essential qualities we are looking for. You will also be keen to network to generate new work.

The team are LEXCEL and CQS accredited and therefore, applicants must be able to demonstrate an efficient, high standard of file management.

Based in fabulous new offices in central Leeds (during the pandemic a mix of WFH and office based), This is the ideal role for commuters from greater Leeds and West Yorkshire.
