In-House Commercial Lawyer 2+ PQE - Bristol - Home Working

Your new company
Our client is seeking an In-House Commercial Solicitor to join their impressive in-house legal function in Bristol. They have a track record of controlled and profitable growth and are seeking a solicitor with good quality experience in the Commercial field to join their legal counsel team. You will report directly into the Senior Legal Counsel and support them directly on the contracts side. You will provide services and support to the companies within the group and work in collaboration with other departments in the business on contracts and project work. This role will be based in their Bristol office however the team are currently working from home and they fully embrace flexible working; post-COVID there will also be the opportunity for home working with two days per week required in the office.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified solicitor with 2+ PQE with broad commercial law experience, including drafting and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements. An understanding of data protection would be desirable, and you will have trained either an in-house environment or recognised commercial law firm. Experience in the financial services industry would be desirable but not essential. A commercial and "can do" approach will be key. The successful individual will feel comfortable working in an entrepreneurial company, able to make commercial decisions quickly and confidently.
