Description
Please see outlined below some of the responsibilities for the Legal Manager role. Training will be given by the Head of Legal for Europe and you will be part of a larger Legal team based across Europe.
Draft, review and lead the negotiation of contractual documents for all legal entities and business divisions within UK, Ireland and Nordics.
Manage all significant commercial/contractual risks and opportunities
Identify and implement appropriate commercial terms and conditions
Ensure consistency between framework agreements and local agreements
Review consistency of negotiated agreements with standard terms and conditions
Manage actual and potential claims/disputes in coordination with all areas of the business
Ensure that all contracts are released/signed by duly authorised representatives in line with published policies and procedures Ensure interface and effective co-ordination with legal function at European level.
Profile
Candidates who have a Law degree and who have had some exposure to working in Commercial contracts should apply for this role. It would be preferable if you had some in house Commercial experience. However candidates from private practice or other sector backgrounds should apply. If you have experience of some of the below areas of Commercial work then please apply. You will be working in a fast paced environment and working autonomously , although guidance/ training will be given by the legal team. This is an excellent role for someone who is not qualified as a solicitor.
