Residential Conveyancer – Sutton Coldfield
QED Legal is working with a very highly rated Legal 500 listed commercial practice which is eager to appoint an experienced Residential Conveyancer for its Sutton Coldfield office.
You will need to have a minimum of 2 years' experience of dealing with the full remit of the residential conveyancing process and be proficient in dealing with a broad remit of residential property matters.
Where this role differs from others is that there will be a heavy emphasis on developing the offering by undertaking business development, marketing and networking. There is already work to service and there are other lawyers in place from which you can leverage instructions off; however, you will also be afforded the opportunity to really grow the offering by securing new clients and opening further revenue streams.
Reporting to the Head of Residential Property, you will have the benefit of a collaborative and supportive environment and you will enjoy a good deal of autonomy. This role will allow you to deal with interesting and challenging matters whilst also providing swift progression opportunities as you develop the conveyancing practice at the new office. There is very little in the way of a firm hierarchy here and the idea is that you will become an integral part of a well-run broader team rather than be simply a number in a large national organisation where roles are more clearly defined and compartmentalised.
The firm is offering a very competitive salary along with a bonus scheme which is lucrative and provides for you to recoup a percentage of all fees generated in excess of your target. There is also onsite car parking available and the office is within walking distance of a host of amenities.
