Our fantastic international law firm client is currently looking for an IT Developer to join their innovative IT team on a permanent basis, the firm is running an ambitious digital transformation programme, which is moving the Firm's systems into Microsoft's cloud and leveraging the latest development and delivery techniques to deliver value to its clients and differentiate it from its competitors. They are requiring a hands-on, business-oriented approach, the role will design and develop new applications, which include web-based portals built on Mendix low code.

Key responsibilities for this role will include designs, codes, verifies, tests, documents, amends and refactors complex programs/scripts and integration software services, contributes to selection of the software development approach for projects, selecting appropriately from predictive (plan-driven) approaches or adaptive (iterative/agile) approaches, applies agreed standards and tools, to achieve well-engineered outcomes, participates in reviews of own work and leads reviews of colleagues' work, designs software components and modules using appropriate modelling techniques following agreed software design standards, patterns and methodology, creates and communicates multiple design views to identify and balance the concerns of all stakeholders of the software design and to allow for both functional and non-functional requirements, identifies and evaluates alternative design options and trade-offs, recommends designs, which take into account target environment, performance security requirements and existing systems.

Candidates should have prior experience of working in a similar role within a legal or professional services background, they should also have the ability to operate at a SFIA Level 4.
