Conveyancer (Remote Working Option)
West Yorkshire
QED Legal are working with a long-established provider of Conveyancing services in West Yorkshire who are looking to add an experienced Conveyancer to their team.
The business underwent an important transformation last year and is now part of a wider national practice covering a multitude of legal areas and services not just conveyancing. Despite covid19 the work has continued to flow and the department is really busy.
Caseload wise, the bulk of the work is volume and panel based, but in an environment that is looking to be different from a conveyancing factory.
The firm are committed to attracting experienced Conveyancers from both traditional and modern conveyancing firms alike to have a real varied workforce that provides the best of both volume and traditional ways of working.
The right candidate for the role will ideally have over 4 years’ experience carrying a full sale and purchase residential property caseload. Will have deal with freehold and leasehold, registered and unregistered land, transfers of equity, help to buy, new builds etc. You should be comfortable in dealing with the process from start to finish although the wider property department does have remortgage and post completion specialists as well as admin support.
As with a number of legal businesses covid19 has brought real changes to the way that firms have to operate from a logistics standpoint. There can be discussions over flexibility in terms of working location, with the possibility of the role being completely remote based.
The firm can offer a competitive salary based on experience and benefits including bonus, 27 days holiday (+bank holidays), life insurance, free parking and more.
