Childcare Lawyer - ALL REMOTE - NO ADVOCACY

Venn Group’s specialist legal team are currently working with a busy Local Authority in East London/Essex who are known for their excellent social care initiatives in the borough, who are recruiting for 2 x Locum Childcare Lawyers to join their department.

This is a full-time assignment, and will be offered for an on going contract, with the initial period 3 months and then extended every 3 months thereafter and to be worked on a remote basis. 

This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Childcare Lawyer to become part of a proactive Local Authority who are known for their inspiring and collaborative team environment.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working within Local Government and it is essential that the successful candidate has specifically:

• Provided expert legal advice in relation to children’s law
• Handled care proceedings and public law children’s matters and dealt with child protection orders and adoption matters
• Managed own casefiles with no supervision

The successful applicant will have a hard working manner and enthusiastic attitude, as well as excellent technical skills.

An hourly rate of around £40-45 per hour umbrella is offered for this position, dependent upon experience. This can also be negotiated if needed.
