Childcare Advocate Lawyer - REMOTE WORKING

Locum Childcare Advocate Lawyer – North London – Full Time – On going contract – Remote Working offered – £45 per hour Umbrella negotiable

Venn Group’s specialist legal team are currently working with a busy Local Authority in North London, easily accessible by the jubilee line in Wembley, who are known for their excellent team culture, who are recruiting for a Locum Childcare Advocate to join their department.

This is a full-time assignment, and will be offered for an on going contract, with the initial period 3 months and then extended every 3 months thereafter and with the option to be worked on a remote basis. The client is considering one day in the office of which the hours to start and finish can be flexible for a good work life balance. If this is not possible, this can also be discussed with the client. They are keen to secure the right candidate and are willing to be flexible and appreciate if travel time is neccesary, this will likely be spent for court hearings.

This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Childcare Lawyer to become part of a proactive Local Authority who are known for their inspiring and collaborative team environment.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working within Local Government and it is essential that the successful candidate has specifically handled:

• Care proceedings and pre-proceedings

• Experience attending PLO meetings

• Conducting advocacy at a range of hearings including final hearings 

An hourly rate of around £45-50 per hour umbrella is offered for this position, dependent upon experience. This can also be negotiated if needed.
