The Client
Our client, a well-respected International Telecommunications Company are looking for a Data Privacy lawyer to join their Legal team on a fixed term contract.
The Role
This role will be assisting the Legal Team on a transformation project for a 10 month FTC. The successful candidate will be advising and supporting on development and deployment of the transformation which includes revising privacy policies, data ethics assessments, privacy impact assessments as well as other duties.
The successful candidate will also be required to collaborate with key stakeholders to deliver commercial and practical advice.
Requirements:
- Qualified lawyer with proven experience handling data protection and privacy matters,
- Strong knowledge of data protection laws (GDPR, UK DPA, PECR),
- A demonstrated ability to work on complex legal issues and to function in a high volume / fast-paced environment with multiple and diverse responsibilities, managing a varied and changing caseload.
- CIPP/E or other data privacy qualifications (not essential)
