The Role

You will be a Commercial Litigation Solicitor, joining an established, successful team with a department headed up by expert Partners where you will deal with great work, deal directly with clients and run your own matters with the support as needed, but the autonomy you would expect from an adult working culture.

The litigation department deals with a broad range of disputes and has significant expertise in resolving complex commercial issues minimizing risk and liability for costs for clients at the outset of a dispute through to advising on the best strategy for achieving the best outcome, either by way of litigation, negotiation or alternative dispute resolution.
The role will involve a mixture of general commercial litigation work, including commercial contract disputes, insolvency disputes, professional negligence claims, regulatory, criminal / inquest / inquiry
and civil fraud work.

You will be working directly with the Partners gaining significant exposure to more complex matters.

Requirements:

• You will be a Commercial Litigation Solicitor with 3-5 years PQE
• Willingness to supervise and mentor trainees & paralegals
• Able to manage and run your own files
• An appreciation of business development, of how to market and develop a practice; and
• A strong academic background.
