Job Title: Commercial Litigation Paralegal
Salary: £40,000
Location: Central London
Established London law firm, who are undergoing a period of rapid expansion, are looking for an experienced commercial litigation paralegal to assist two partners with a variety of litigation work including IP disputes, insurance and insolvency work. The partners are exceptionally busy and are expecting a paralegal to join in a fee earning capacity and be able to hit the ground running.
A selection of responsibilities:
- Undertaking legal research
- Putting together trial bundles
- Document review
- Liaising with counsel
- Drafting: witness statements, instructions to Counsel, disclosure letters, pleadings etc.
- Proof reading and redacting documents
- Locating and instructing expert witnesses
- Managing correspondence
- Note taking: Attending client meetings and court
- Advising clients throughout all stages of the litigation process
- All pre- and post- litigation duties
The firm have a truly international portfolio dealing with an interesting array of corporate clients in the UK and Worldwide. You should be comfortable handling complex matters efficiently and have an excellent eye for detail as well as the ability to keep up with a very fast-paced level of work and in line with deadlines.
An excellent opportunity for an experienced litigation paralegal (minimum of 12 months’ experience required) in an expanding, ambitious and dynamic law firm. Exceptional hands-on role, high profile cases and quality experience. Confident communication skills and the ability to prioritise and cope with a constant flow of emails and document requests are a must.
