Research/Database Asst - Copyright & Royalties - £25,000

The team deals mainly with the protection of copyright but also other commercial disputes. The ideal candidate will have strong administration skills, experience of using Excel and a good grasp of IT generally. They will be personable and confident when liaising with clients and colleagues in person and over the telephone. The role is extremely varied and will provide exposure to a wide range of matters including but not limited to:

• Researching and investigating for potential copyright infringement on the internet and social media
• Taking calls from potential infringers
• Carrying out local authority searches online and over the phone
• Carrying out company searches
• Creating reports and updating spreadsheets

Whilst supervision and support will naturally be given, candidates should be able to manage a busy workload and demonstrate their initiative.
