SENIOR LEGAL COUNSEL

Our client an East Midlands top-tier law firm is looking to hire a Senior Legal Counsel to join their growing team. This role will be working remotely.

The successful candidate will be assisting the Group Legal Director in effecting and delivering high-quality, effective legal functions to the firm.

The ideal candidate will have the below key skills-

• Qualified UK solicitor or equivalent, with minimum 3-4 years post-qualification experience (essential)
• Good knowledge of pharmaceutical industry and related services (preferably CRO, EAP, CTS) (desirable)
• Previous extensive experience as a contracts/commercial solicitor (essential), preferably in-house (desirable)
• Good track record of promoting risk management, compliance and good corporate governance (essential)
• Well presented, displays professional manner (essential)
• High level of commercial awareness (essential)
• Willingness and enthusiasm to engage with regulatory matters and to identify and effect optimum solutions (essential)
• Good communication and presentation skills, both oral and written, along with good drafting skills (essential)
• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills (essential)
• Good planning, prioritisation and organisational skills (essential)
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills (essential)
• Good technology skills – ability to work with commonly-used IT platforms and packages (essential)
