Professional Indemnity Solicitor - One of our leading defendant clients is currently looking to take on a talented litigator to handle a variety of professional negligence work including claims against surveyors, architects, IFAs, brokers and other professionals. The firm is looking for ambitious candidates with proven litigation experience to work with and support two of the Partners in the team in relation to high value, complex claims as well as running their own caseload of slightly smaller matters. The role involves a high amount of client contact and the team is looking for lawyers who are capable of building strong client relationships.

• Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 (depending on experience)
• Reports to: Head of Professional Indemnity
• Previous Experience: Professional negligence / indemnity solicitors with 1 PQE +. Those with solid experience in other areas of litigation such as commercial litigation are also encouraged to apply.

Nature of the candidate

Ideally, our client is looking for qualified fee earners with 1 PQE +. It is recognised that professional negligence is a challenging skillset to source, so those will transferable skill sets such as commercial litigation will also be considered. Candidates should already be comfortable with drafting letters of claim and statements of case as well as liaising with Counsel where necessary.
