One of the best known firms in the Sussex region with a very busy Private Client Department are seeking to add a further fee earner to support continued commercial growth.

UK Legal 500, with numerous offices across the region providing high quality legal services to commercial and private clients. with over 200 staff providing a broad range of legal services to clients across The Southeast.
 
Role
Due to continued growth and success of the Private Client Department the firm are looking to recruit an additional fee earner, the position can be based at several offices from Brighton through to Eastbourne. You would be dealing with essentially the full remit of private client matters including Wills, Trust, Tax, Probate and Powers of Attorney.  The position will include a great deal of client contact, attending client meetings, drafting wills, advising on Declarations of Trust, administering estates, preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney, providing advice on tax and trusts and handling General Affairs files.

Requirements 
A qualified Lawyer, be that Solicitor or Legal Executive ideally with at least 1 yrs PQE and able to largely manage your own caseload of matters though peer support and supervision will be on hand as you develop your expertise further.  A good technical grounding in private client matters with an ability to manage and prioritise the client expectation and a willingness to play your part in contributing to what is already a successful team.

Office location 
The role can be based out of a number of locations including Lewes, Eastbourne and Brighton all of which are easily accessible, there is some flexibility on office presence, currently a significant amount due to the covid environment but this is expected to return to a predominantly office based role in future with some flexibility allowed.
