US law firm is looking to hire a new Funds Paralegal, with an emphasis on ISDA support. Ideally looking for paralegals with 1-2 years’ experience with good initiative, organisational skills and fantastic attention to detail plus previous working knowledge of with funds, transactional or corporate work is a must. This role is a permanent position paying £34,000 with lots of paid overtime should you want it.
The main duties can be summarised as, but not limited to:
•Transaction and project management
•Assistance in the launch and ongoing general representation of fund and business structures •Preparation of draft fund documentation •Assistance in the review and negotiation of ISDAs, prime brokerage and service provider agreements, GMRAs, other trading agreements and related documentation •Management of client files and maintenance of client ongoing relationships •Work with external and foreign counsel and third party service providers •Undertake research as required by the team and prepare written feedback following such research •Perform any and all other duties as necessary for the efficient functioning of the Department, Office and Firm
Education and experience
•Degree qualified (2.1 and above)
•Experience either in equivalent private practice role or asset management side of an investment bank will be advantageous.
