Commercial/IP Lawyer

Our client are a very prestigious and extremely profitable Cambridge law firm, highly rated by Legal 500 with an envious client base and a true team culture.

They seek a Lawyer of outstanding calibre to succeed the head of department and lead the team going forward upon their retirement. The role does not require a following and could offer Partnership from day one for the right candidate.

You will be acting for businesses across many industries, with a technology bias, as well as public sector organisations in addition to charities / not-for-profit organisations, handling a wide range of commercial, contract and Intellectual Property work for national and international clients. The role includes research and development arrangements; a broad range of technology licensing contracts; all sorts of contracts for supply of goods and/or services (from either perspective); manufacturing contracts; distribution/agency contracts; I&CT supply, licensing and support agreements; publishing contracts; all aspects of doing business online; data protection; and many other commercial arrangements.

This is a unique opportunity for a Lawyer to join law firm with clear prospects for advancement without a following or perhaps a City based Senior Associate looking for a move outside of London.
