Legal Counsel - Finance


Established legal counsel sought to join Telecommunications business, to support with finance transactions and related matters.

Experienced in financial matters, this role will take a lead in advising the legal team and business stakeholders on a variety of financial matters. It is expected that the successful candidate will assist in negotiation, review and drafting of transaction documents (term sheets, financing agreements, security documents). They'll also need to assist with queries relating to financing arrangements and ensure that all documents are in compliance with applicable laws, guidelines, regulations etc.


In order to be successful, it is expected that the candidate will be :

-UK or EU qualified solicitor
-Have at least 5 years PQE in top tier law firm, or in-house counsel
-Proven experience in finance / banking law, with excellent legal drafting, negotiation and transaction management skills
-End-to-End experience of leading, structuring and completing finance deals
-Experience in complex and / or dual financing (debt and equity) and / or experience with Islamic finance
-French, Portuguese or Arabic language skills would be beneficial
