Contentious Probate Solicitor - Worthing, West Sussex
An established, modern and growing law firm in Worthing, West Sussex are looking for an experienced Contentious Probate Solicitor / Litigation Solicitor with ideally 4 years+ PQE.
Your role will be working closely with both the Private Client and wider Litigation team where you'll handle your own small exisiting caseload handling a wide range of contentious trusts and probate matters, including disputed wills, inheritance act claims, and disputes related to estates and trusts.
In addition, you'll play an active part in networking/generating new clients (with support from colleagues and the internal marketing team). Therefore, a keen interest in business development is essential. This is a great role for someone who is looking to build, develop and manage a team as the firm have clear growth plans for this area. There is certainly opportunities to become Head of Department/Partnership prospects for the right person.
You must be a qualified Litigation Solicitor / Legal Executive (FCILEx) with proven experience in contentious probate. Ideally you'd have held a pure contentious trusts and probate caseload, although those handling broad Litigation with some experience and a passion for contentious probate are also encouraged to apply. ACTAPS or working towards would be highly advantageous.
Salary/package is very much open to negotiation, you'll also get various benefits/bonus and hybrid working options.
