Head of Real Estate - Birmingham - 8+ PQE

This is an exciting opportunity at an innovative and fast growing national law firm for an experienced Real Estate lawyer to head its Real Estate team. This dynamic and progressive firm operates a predominantly remote working model (some travel to the firm's Birmingham office in this role), offers excellent quality work and a good platform from which to develop new business due to clever use of technology and a unique and cost effective client offering.

As Head of Real Estate, you would:

· Work alongside the firm's business development and marketing teams to develop a business plan for the team to align with the firm's ambitious growth plans.
· Be innovative and forward-thinking and driven by the challenge of growing a team.
· Pitch for new business.
· Take overall responsibility for the firm's real estate team to include appraisals and performance management.
· Monitor client feedback.

Candidate Requirements:

· Solid real estate experience whether from a large national/international firm or a regional or smaller firm with a solid real estate practice.
· Ambitious, driven, innovative and forward-thinking with a track record of building and managing a team of busy lawyers or otherwise in a senior fee earning position and looking to now move on to lead a team.
· Eight plus years' PQE as a minimum.
· Good technical, drafting and negotiation skills.
