The perfect role has arisen for a family paralegal or NQ solicitor who is looking to specialise in child law matters. Based in Shropshire, this firm is looking to recruit into its Wellington office as an addition to its very busy childcare team.
Our client is looking for a paralegal or NQ solicitor with at least two years’ experience in public children law. Your role will be to assist a senior solicitor on all matters, working closely and developing your knowledge and skill set, and will include meeting clients and drafting court documents and statements. There will be an opportunity to develop your skills into private children law over time. At NQ level, you will be expected to build and develop you own caseload in a short space of time but will have plenty of support from solicitors within the team. At paralegal level there will be the opportunity of a training contract for the right person.
Having placed into the team around 12 months ago, I am able to advise that this is a busy and thriving department. The team works collaboratively, and they support one another. I am told the environment is friendly with no hierarchy.
This role offers clear progression prospects from the outset, so if you are an NQ solicitor or paralegal looking to specialise in children's law, please contact Rebecca Higgs at G2 Legal or apply online.
